During this week the children have had the opportunity to take part in many different activities as we have listened to the story of Chinese New Year and learnt how the animals had a race to determine which ones would have years named after them. This year it is the Year of the Tiger ( who finished 3rd in the race)
The children have been tasting chinese foods such as rice and noodles, dancing to chinese music with the dragon, making chinese lanterns, painting tigers and writing their name using chinese symbols.
