The Rev Caroline came to visit to talk to us about Christingle. She explained that the orange represents the world,the 4 sticks represent the 4 seasons and the sweets all the good food and things in the world. Caroline then placed a candle in the top of the orange to signify that Jesus is the light of the world and the red ribbon around the orange represents the blood Jesus shed for us.
The children then created their own christingle pictures using different materials. All the children listened well and interacted by answering and asking questions.
