In the run up to Christmas our Thursday children were able to watch the staff pantomime. Our characters had been chosen by the children a few weeks previous to this and we were challenged to create a brief story line to perform to the children which would just be ' made up' on the day with a few 'prompt' words from Jo for the staff to include. The title of the pantomime was " The unicorn and the missing horn" and each character helped Sparkles the unicorn to look for her horn before offering her a replacement..ie The Snowman offered his carrot nose and dog offered a stick.
Our characters were: Tasha- Sparkles the Unicorn, Kim- Teddy Bear (Steiff), Jo- SnowJo the Snowman, Louise- Dotty the Dalmatian, Becky- Cat, Victoria- Elf ( who saved the day), Marie- Luigi.
The children were all given ' healthy' snack bags to enjoy during the performance and joined in enthusiastically with our dancing at the end.
Our Christmas Dinner was enjoyed by our Monday children and staff. Thank you to the school kitchen staff for preparing our yummy turkey dinner and desserts.
Our Nativity...Wednesday 20th December 2023
Our nativity took place in Acton Church and was performed by our older children who will be leaving us in July to start school. All the children sang and signed amazingly to a full church of parents,grandparents and other family members.
The children and staff all then went to join their younger peers at The Village Hall for our christmas party and to enjoy a special visit from Father Christmas.
