The children have been busy creating and cooking different things in the run up to christmas. Here is just a selection of craft activities- snowmen and christmas trees and some of the items we have cooked -- Mince pies and chocolate rice krispie christmas puddings. The children also made snow flakes for the tree in St Peters Church, christmas cards and reindeer food too.
All the children had their hands painted to create the christmas tree on our wall display and some of the children helped to decorate santa and his sleigh.
Our home corner was transformed into Santas Grotto where the children wrapped presents and wrote cards.

We have also been learning the Nativity story as well as practising for our nativity play.
The children were treated to a rendition of christmas songs from the older children in school who came to play their trumpets for us.
